Snowmass Escobar's Hallmark



Snowmass Escobar's Hallmark is one of very few direct Snowmass Escobar sons in the United States. We sold Snowmass Escobar early in his breeding career along side of Accoyo Snowmaster to an Australian group back in early 2000. These very influential studs have since made quite a remarkable impact on the fine alpaca breeding genetics of Australia and have made their way into New Zealand. We have been holding on to E Hallmark until we had a gap of generations in the direct Hemingway line of our other Elite white breeding populations. We very much want to bring in the other lines of his pedigree to our White breeding program, which include the remarkable Cconchatanca female, Escobar’s Dam, 0663 PPeruvian Senora, who we sold to Ian & Jen Lutz of Cas Cad Nac many years back. We respect this line so much we purchased a daughter of hers, CCNF Sierra, at their 2008 Elite Auction. The other very important Element of Escobar Hallmarks lineage which completes not only his name but the excellence of his genetic heritage is his Dam; 5PERUVIAN HALLMARK 8622. Yes the one who sold for a well deserved 0,000 to Virginia Alpacas at The Making of Champions sale. This female is a rare ONE OF A KIND something you want to reproduce on a massive scale. Well we are going to bring her genetics back in along side of Senora’s, and continue a long strong base line breed with Peruvian Hemingway G171 who for us is like the sugar in all good recipes. E Hallmark is now 8 years old. We have not sold him due to the knowledge that these genetics lines will be very important in future breeding for us which will take place this year.

Fiber and Fleece Description

He has an extreme frequency of crimp consistent fineness and incredible density.

He has remarkably low medulation even in his primary fibers which remain for the most part under 30 microns.
