Congratulations!

Snowmass Bella Bells is a production female you will be sorry to miss. She is an extraordinary Snowmass Best Man daughter who carries the impeccable white lineage of her dam, the one and only Snowmass Queen Bella Sarah. The production quality of these two crossing lines is white excellence incarnate.

Snowmass Bella Bell’s production history, in itself, is proof of her limitless white potential. Her first two offspring, Snowmass Seventh Samurai and Snowmass Enclave, have been on the leading edge of our juvenile show string selection. Snowmass Enclave, just 5 months old now, is preparing for show this year, while Seventh Samurai was awarded Reserve Champion during the 2013 Futurity. The judges were bright-eyed in describing Seventh Samurai’s revolutionary fleece characteristics. Given that ‘white juvenile male’ is the most competitive class in the country, and that we can only select 3 animals from our entire yearly production, the gravity of Bella Bell’s contribution is clear.

We wanted to see more juveniles like Seventh Samurai's so we bred Bella Bells back to Snowmass Seven Below this year. Our only expectation is another stellar white cria. The key in this genetic pairing is the production of a long, bright, and fine staple that covers the entire body of the alpaca—very similar to Best Man himself.

While it is ultimately a bittersweet feeling, we feel extremely proud to be in the position to offer females that have production records like Bella Bells. She is the last of the direct Snowmass Best Man daughters remaining in the US, unless more are imported from Switzerland where Best Man now resides. Congratulations are in order to the breeder who acquires this tremendous production package.
